Have you ever wondered how to install games in your mobile phones? You must be surprised to know that it may even take less than a minute or two to download and load it into your favorite mobile phone. Let us find out how.
Step One
First of all and quite obviously, you need a mobile phone where you would like to install the game. Second important thing is that you need it to be connected with internet by using WAP technology or internet mobile browsing service. There are essentially two processes, either of which you might like to follow while connecting. Either, you can start on from your games menu of the phone. Or, you may try locating into phone’s main menu.
Step Two
Have you customized this segment before? If not, then it must take you to the network operator’s home page. Most commonly, this is the page where you may be able to look through different games arranged category wise. Additionally, you may have a brief description written along with each game. In some cases, you are able to view screenshots from the game as well.
Step Three
Got the game you desire for? Well, now it’s the time to scroll down vertically throughout the screen unless you see a blue link (hyperlink) saying “Buy this game”. Select the link, let it be highlighted, now press the OK button in your mobile phone or you may have softkey options to choose depending on the network operator.
Step Four
Now it is the time to see confirmation message which will ask you to confirm about the deal. After that, a message will prompt asking about the download location. It’s worthy to save the game within your mobile. The process will take a minute or two to download depending on the targeted file size. As soon as the download will be finished, you will be prompted with a text message saying that you have bought the game.
Step Five
It seems now you are really excited about playing newly downloaded games. But before you enter into the world of gaming, make it very sure that you have already closed the WAP browser. Well, if you are confused, why don’t just press End Call button in your Keypad? Happy gaming!

What is DirectX?
By Madison Lockwood
DirectX is a family of "application program interfaces" (APIs) that are designed by Microsoft to make graphics functionality of Microsoft compatible software -especially videogames - function smoothly and at their highest level. There have been DirectX versions 3,5,6,7,8,9 and now, concurrent with the introduction of the new Microsoft Vista operating system, DirectX 10.
Direct3D is a special interface designed by Microsoft that allows developers to abstract 3D graphics programming from the underlying hardware. First introduced with Windows 95 11 years ago, Direct3D and its parent API, DirectX, have been a mainstay in the 3D games development industry.
Each version of DirectX has caused the development of more powerful and sophisticated video cards - the big manufacturers are ATI and nVidia - as the graphics, special effects and images on screen become less cartoon-like and more realistic. The essential goal of DirectX has always been to develop an onscreen 3-D environment, and every version of DirectX has improved upon that goal. With the introduction of each version of DirectX, the video card companies have been forced to produce new cards able to take advantage of the latest DirectX version's new features.
As of DirectX 10, to be introduced in Windows Vista, all 3D vendors (game makers) will support the same features, guaranteeing compatibility across the board. Although this may sound great, allowing for a more standardized games development environment, it makes it harder for graphics card makers to create more unique products and differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
Vista and DirectX 10 aren't all doom and gloom for the games industry, according to a Microsoft spokesman. They will in fact do much for both the performance and versatility of graphics hardware. For instance, graphics processors, known as GPUs, will have scheduling and sharing capabilities under Vista, much like CPUs have now. Users will be able to run multiple 3D applications that will be able to share memory, GPU cycles and other resources, something that is currently impossible under previous Windows versions.
While this is computer happy talk for compatibility, it may also portend a necessary function demanded by the sheer size of the Vista program and the power needed to drive video MB and RAM hungry games along with the operating system itself. Nevertheless, Vista was certainly designed with multimedia in mind. It will be the first Microsoft operating system designed to run on both 32 bit and the new generation of 64 bit chips - a quantum step forward in computer speed and sophistication.
According to video card maker ATI, the big step forward provided by DirectX 10 is a fundamentally different method of integrating what are called "vertex" and "pixel" shader functions into a "geometry" shading process. What this means is that the process of producing high quality graphics does not require substantial use of the CPU, or the computer's processing unit, but rather relies on the graphics processing unit - the video card. That means a lot less interchange of information between the computer's central functioning units and the video card - and thus, a chance for game developers to produce a more sophisticated and detailed 3D image that is less susceptible to distortion.
Gamers, start your engines.

Use Your Playstation 2 Controllers On Your Playstation 3 With the PS2 Controller Adpater
By Steven Fields
Do you own a Playstation 3? I Do. And I absolutely love this game machine. In fact, I love it so much that I put my good old trusty Playstation 2 system up for sale and sold it. Mind you, I'm keeping all of my favorite games, because they can be played on the PS3 as well. Especially the two player games that I play often with friends. Thankfully I had several PS2 controllers (4 to be exact) and decided to only sell two of them with my Playstation 2 console. I figured I could use my PS2 controllers on my Playstation 3, and not have to spend another $50.00 on an extra controller.
Now, I did of course know that the Playstation 3 controllers were not the same as the Playstation 2. While they do have their SIXAXIS wireless controllers, they also have SIXAXIS wired Playstation 3 controllers as well. However, these use a USB port in order to be able to plug into the controller ports on the Playstation 3. This did present a problem, because the Playstation 2 controllers do not have a USB plug, but a unique plug that's specific to the PS2 Console.
However, having reviewed and written about video games and video game accessories for many years now, and watched as innovative companies designed and developed what are called controller adapters for essentially every single video game console on the market, I was certain that it was only a matter of time before a Playstation 2 to Playstation 3 controller adapter would be released. And boy was I right. Not even 3 months after the release of the Playstation 3, the PS2 to PS3 Controller adapter started showing up on video game web sites.
The Playstation 2 to Playstation 3 controller adapter is an adapter for Playstation 2 controllers. About 3 to 6 feet long, depending on which model you buy. The adapter allows you to plug in a Playstation 2 controller to one and, and then plug the other end, which is a USB plug, into the Playstation 3. Your Playstation 2 controller will work just like any wired Playstation 3 controller, minus the SIXAXIS Support of course, and the HOME button that's on all of the PS3 controllers.
All of the buttons are of course there, so you'll be able to play every single Playstation 3 game just as you would when using a Playstation 3 controller. Unfortunately, though the PS2 controllers have the rumble function / dual shock built in, Sony decided to remove this from the Playstation 3 controllers (and I suspect it had a lot to do with the lawsuit brought against them by the developers of this technology). What this means is that regardless of the DUAL SHOCK functions built into your Playstation 2 controller, unless you're playing Playstation 2 games.
Not only does the PS2 to PS3 controller adapter save you money, and make use of your now unused Playstation 2 controllers, you'll also be able to play your PS2 games just the same as you would on your Playstation 2 console, with all of the rumble and force feedback that would be lacking if you were playing your Playstation 2 games with a Playstation 3 controller.
The controller adapter is a quick and easy way to use your Playstation 2 controllers on your Playstation 3. And above all, it's extremely cheap. priced at under $10.00, it's certainly much cheaper than going out and buying another Playstation 3 controller. In fact, you could buy up to 4 adapters, and make use of all of the Playstation 3 controller ports, and use PS2 controllers in all of them. An excellend, and low cost way to enjoy those multi player games, without having to let your Playstation 2 controllers collect dust.

Wow Its Nintendo Wii
By Carrie Fleharty
Gaming was created to be accessible and fun to people of all ages and abilities, and was inviting as well as being sophisticated. The Nintendo Wii has a compact design that makes a natural addition to any entertainment setup. One of Wii’s drawing factors is the remote control and its motion-sensing technology to entice people of all ages. The remote could be your steering wheel, a tennis racket, or a weapon depending upon your game of choice.
The Nintendo Wii is more than about gaming it features a compact design that makes it a natural addition to any television setup. The Wii is backward-compatable to all Nintendo GameCube games and includes four ports for controllers and two slots for memory cards. A self-loading bay plays single or double-layered 12 cm optical discs for the Wii console, as well as 8 cm Nintendo GameCube discs. Relatively small about the size of 3 DVD cases stacked up on top of each other, and it can be laid out flat or in style by the use of the console stand. The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via wireless or a Wii LAN adaptor, and can communicate via wireless technology with the Nintendo DS.
The Nunchuk builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk connects to the Wii Remote via the expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote. In many of the games the players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk to move characters, and perform specific actions. Both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk are somewhat dependent on each other, and therefore allowing players to hold them in either hand. This grants accessibility seldom seen in other game controllers.
The Wii uses Bluetooth technology and allows you to stand as far as 30 feet away, and up to four Wii Remotes can be connected at once. The Classic Controller which is sold separately allows the player to play classic games available through the Wii Shop Channel.
Wii console revolutionizes how games are played, and will provide an offering of a variety of entertainment, information and communication channels. The Wii menu allows for integration among the entertainment lives of each family. For fun, the Wii Remote can be personalized by a fun 3-D character called a Mii, and Miis can be stored in the Remote, and then transported to a friends house to be played on another Wii.
Potentially the Wii has a bright future. The cost will be an advantage over other systems, such as Ps3 and Xbox 360. Another major advantage is the appeal to normal or classic gamers. The Wii Remote with the Nunchuk is the catch for the non-gaming market, providing for a fun and interactive physical game, as if you were the action on the monitor.
The graphics are lacking to some degree, and have been compared to the original Xbox which weren’t very well liked. Between the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii the games on the Wii look bad to the human eyes. Gamers want the graphics to look as real as possible. In time these graphics will become available. The more knowledge gained then more work will be done to achieve better graphics.
Overall the Nintendo Wii is a good source of entertainment, and its future looks bright. Nintendo is all about fun, and that’s the Wii, fun, engaging, and even gets a person up and moving around while still in the living room.

Spice Up the Look of Your PSP with Free Wallpapers
By Joseph Ducat
You may be satisfied with the look of your Sony PSP as it is, but it would be pretty nice if you could customize it to your taste. The easiest way to do so is to change the screen wallpaper to one of your choice. If you have the skill you can simply create your own PSP wallpaper using an image program, but if you can’t, don’t worry. There are plenty of ways to find PSP wallpapers you can download for free. You are sure to be able to find something that will suit your interests.
Your first stop in finding free PSP wallpapers to download should be the official Sony PSP site at www.playstation.com. The official website has a Media and Downloads section where you can find free downloads of game demos, videos, music, and of course, wallpapers. Most of the wallpapers available here are themed around a popular PSP game. Some of them, while still game-based, are also themed around a special occasion or holiday, such as Christmas.
If you’re not interested in game-themed wallpaper for some reason, you can look for user-created wallpapers designed by PSP players and made available online to share with others. One good place to find user-submitted wallpapers is the official PSP community, a discussion forum for PSP players, at yourpsp.com. A search for the term “wallpapers” on this community turns up several pages of threads devoted to sharing free wallpaper images. There are even threads for people who want to have wallpaper made for them, or who need to have an image resized so they can use it as a PSP wallpaper. Other discussion forums for the PSP will also have threads where free wallpapers are made available for download.
You can also find websites that are dedicated to free PSP wallpaper downloads. These sites are very helpful as the wallpapers are sorted according to theme, so you can browse only the sections featuring wallpaper related to your interests. It is easy to find websites like these just by typing the words “psp wallpaper” on any popular web search engine. A search that I did on Yahoo! led me to the website ThemePSP.com. It has a few thousand wallpaper files available in various categories, some of them being: animals, cars, fantasy, nature, and patterns. There may be other and better websites out there, so search some more.
I hope you enjoyed my tips on free PSP wallpapers. You can find more about free downloads for your PSP at http://www.marketingapplied.com/allpspgames

Playstation 3 Pre-Order Madness
By Sean Saunders
Every couple of years, new gaming software hits the market. Usually it hits the market right before Christmas, which is a nightmare for parents; as almost every kid on the planet is in a "receiving" mood rather than a giving one. This means that many kids will see the game console and their eyes will light up like fireworks. Well, the same thing is going to happen again this year. On November 17th, 2006, the Playstation 3 is going to hit stores everywhere. That means electronic stores all throughout the US are going to turn into madhouses. Why is that? Well, its a little thing called supply and demand. It wouldn't be that big a deal if there was plenty of Playstation 3s to go around, but sadly that is not the case and there is going to be far fewer console systems than people. A low amount of gaming systems and a high amount of needy customers always yields the same result, and that result is not good.
After all, the same thing happened with the XBOX 360 last November, short supply and high demand. Even though that system cost $400, it didn't stop people from getting in line to buy one. Even if that line was 2 to 3 blocks long. Well, the Playstation 3 is priced at $600 and there is no doubt that the same scenario will ensue, if not a worse one.
If you feel that you need to get a PS3, then you undoubtedly want to get on a pre-order list as fast as possible. However, there is a problem with that task. The Playstation 3 release is only about a month away from release, and since the release of this colossal gaming system has been known by gamers for several months now, it may be too late.
It "may" be too late because it is only a few weeks away from the release of the Playstation 3, which means many store pre-order lists are already going to be filled to the brim. Thats not to say you won't get a PS3 on November 17th, but getting one without being on a pre-order list is one heck of an accomplishment, and to some a nearly impossible feat. Besides that, every day that you waste just "thinking" about getting on a pre-order list means you're that much farther away from actually obtaining a Playstation 3. The faster you act, the more chances you have.
So what can be done to get on a list? Plenty! Just because there are lots of people who want a Playstation 3, does not mean that every pre-order list is going to be full. In order to get a PS3 on the release date, you are going to have to ask around at quite a few different stores. Obviously, your going to ask the basic questions, such as "Are you selling Playstation 3s?", "Do you have a Pre-order list?", "How many people are on the list before me?", etc. But, many people fail to ask the other important questions, like: "How many PS3s shipments are you going to receive this month? What about next month?" and "When is your next Playstation 3 shipment?". Yeah, its true that not all stores will give out that specific information, but there is going be plenty of stores that will gladly give you any and all information you need.
If you do get on a pre-order list, don't stop there. The more lists you are on, the more chance you have of obtaining a PS3 on release day, or before Christmas (which is the goal of most). Although, they are called "pre-order" lists, that doesn't necessarily mean that the lists will vanish after the release day. Most of these lists will last until Christmas, and/or usually a month or two after. If people drop off the list, or do not have the money to buy the PS3 when their "time" is called, they move down and you move up. Enough drop-outs on a list and you might even get a PS3 sooner than you expected.
Theres no doubt about it, its going to be a hectic day for stores and shoppers on November 17th, 2006. But if you take precautions and do a bit of research, the joys of a Playstation 3 will undoubtedly be yours on its launch date. Then again, you could always just wait 3-4 months and get one when the PS3 craze dies down; but thats up to you and how devoted of a PS3 fan you actually are.

Wholesale Playstation 3 - Crucial Facts
By Joaquin Reveron
It is not possible to get brand new wholesale playstation 3 with the definition of true wholesale, from distributors online, period. Despite what many crooks would have you believe- if you try to get a PlayStation 3 in this way, the best scenario is that you will get it slightly cheaper than the retail price, but with a lot more hassle and worry.
The worst case is that you will not get your playstation 3, and some unscrupulous crook will get your money. Why? The first answer is simple market economics. The reason wholesale prices are low is because of the cost of dealing with individual customers.
Any company, which is selling to individuals- will have to encounter these higher costs- and so will not be able to offer wholesale prices.
The second reason is the shortage of units of wholesale playstation 3. Sony manufacturing centers in Japan and China have been unable to produce enough units to flood the market at its previous launch. Anybody who does have access to a PS3 today has a strong incentive to sell on to a retailer, who will be able to get a good price for them if viewed in the business perspective.
Finally, Sony exerts control over the pricing of the playstation 3 in the US market, as things are slightly different in Japan, where retailers are allowed to set their own prices. They have the legal and economic power to ensure that the ps3 is sold only for the official prices- that is, $499 for the standard version, and $599 for the premium version. Hopefully this gets through many entrepreneurial minds.
So, what are all these outlets offering the PS3 at wholesale prices for? Mostly, it is just a marketing gimmick as entrepreneurship standpoint. Some of them may really be wholesalers who are trying to break their agreement with Sony and sell the PS3 direct to customers.
If that is the case, they are likely to be in legal trouble fairly soon, and they are not good people to be trusted with your hard earned money, in the most likely event.
Where do you go if you cannot get the Sony PS3 at wholesale prices? Look for the best of the retailers. Their prices might seem a lot higher than those of the wholesalers, but in fact some will probably be offering bundles that give you good value for money.
You will probably be in the desire of getting extra games and controllers anyway, so why not let shops include them in the package for you? That is the way to get if you want to see it that way for this 2007 year as a wholesale playstation 3 instead of the many current distribution scams online.
