You may be satisfied with the look of your Sony PSP as it is, but it would be pretty nice if you could customize it to your taste. The easiest way to do so is to change the screen wallpaper to one of your choice. If you have the skill you can simply create your own PSP wallpaper using an image program, but if you can’t, don’t worry. There are plenty of ways to find PSP wallpapers you can download for free. You are sure to be able to find something that will suit your interests.
Your first stop in finding free PSP wallpapers to download should be the official Sony PSP site at www.playstation.com. The official website has a Media and Downloads section where you can find free downloads of game demos, videos, music, and of course, wallpapers. Most of the wallpapers available here are themed around a popular PSP game. Some of them, while still game-based, are also themed around a special occasion or holiday, such as Christmas.
If you’re not interested in game-themed wallpaper for some reason, you can look for user-created wallpapers designed by PSP players and made available online to share with others. One good place to find user-submitted wallpapers is the official PSP community, a discussion forum for PSP players, at yourpsp.com. A search for the term “wallpapers” on this community turns up several pages of threads devoted to sharing free wallpaper images. There are even threads for people who want to have wallpaper made for them, or who need to have an image resized so they can use it as a PSP wallpaper. Other discussion forums for the PSP will also have threads where free wallpapers are made available for download.
You can also find websites that are dedicated to free PSP wallpaper downloads. These sites are very helpful as the wallpapers are sorted according to theme, so you can browse only the sections featuring wallpaper related to your interests. It is easy to find websites like these just by typing the words “psp wallpaper” on any popular web search engine. A search that I did on Yahoo! led me to the website ThemePSP.com. It has a few thousand wallpaper files available in various categories, some of them being: animals, cars, fantasy, nature, and patterns. There may be other and better websites out there, so search some more.
I hope you enjoyed my tips on free PSP wallpapers. You can find more about free downloads for your PSP at http://www.marketingapplied.com/allpspgames

Playstation 3 Pre-Order Madness
By Sean Saunders
Every couple of years, new gaming software hits the market. Usually it hits the market right before Christmas, which is a nightmare for parents; as almost every kid on the planet is in a "receiving" mood rather than a giving one. This means that many kids will see the game console and their eyes will light up like fireworks. Well, the same thing is going to happen again this year. On November 17th, 2006, the Playstation 3 is going to hit stores everywhere. That means electronic stores all throughout the US are going to turn into madhouses. Why is that? Well, its a little thing called supply and demand. It wouldn't be that big a deal if there was plenty of Playstation 3s to go around, but sadly that is not the case and there is going to be far fewer console systems than people. A low amount of gaming systems and a high amount of needy customers always yields the same result, and that result is not good.
After all, the same thing happened with the XBOX 360 last November, short supply and high demand. Even though that system cost $400, it didn't stop people from getting in line to buy one. Even if that line was 2 to 3 blocks long. Well, the Playstation 3 is priced at $600 and there is no doubt that the same scenario will ensue, if not a worse one.
If you feel that you need to get a PS3, then you undoubtedly want to get on a pre-order list as fast as possible. However, there is a problem with that task. The Playstation 3 release is only about a month away from release, and since the release of this colossal gaming system has been known by gamers for several months now, it may be too late.
It "may" be too late because it is only a few weeks away from the release of the Playstation 3, which means many store pre-order lists are already going to be filled to the brim. Thats not to say you won't get a PS3 on November 17th, but getting one without being on a pre-order list is one heck of an accomplishment, and to some a nearly impossible feat. Besides that, every day that you waste just "thinking" about getting on a pre-order list means you're that much farther away from actually obtaining a Playstation 3. The faster you act, the more chances you have.
So what can be done to get on a list? Plenty! Just because there are lots of people who want a Playstation 3, does not mean that every pre-order list is going to be full. In order to get a PS3 on the release date, you are going to have to ask around at quite a few different stores. Obviously, your going to ask the basic questions, such as "Are you selling Playstation 3s?", "Do you have a Pre-order list?", "How many people are on the list before me?", etc. But, many people fail to ask the other important questions, like: "How many PS3s shipments are you going to receive this month? What about next month?" and "When is your next Playstation 3 shipment?". Yeah, its true that not all stores will give out that specific information, but there is going be plenty of stores that will gladly give you any and all information you need.
If you do get on a pre-order list, don't stop there. The more lists you are on, the more chance you have of obtaining a PS3 on release day, or before Christmas (which is the goal of most). Although, they are called "pre-order" lists, that doesn't necessarily mean that the lists will vanish after the release day. Most of these lists will last until Christmas, and/or usually a month or two after. If people drop off the list, or do not have the money to buy the PS3 when their "time" is called, they move down and you move up. Enough drop-outs on a list and you might even get a PS3 sooner than you expected.
Theres no doubt about it, its going to be a hectic day for stores and shoppers on November 17th, 2006. But if you take precautions and do a bit of research, the joys of a Playstation 3 will undoubtedly be yours on its launch date. Then again, you could always just wait 3-4 months and get one when the PS3 craze dies down; but thats up to you and how devoted of a PS3 fan you actually are.

Wholesale Playstation 3 - Crucial Facts
By Joaquin Reveron
It is not possible to get brand new wholesale playstation 3 with the definition of true wholesale, from distributors online, period. Despite what many crooks would have you believe- if you try to get a PlayStation 3 in this way, the best scenario is that you will get it slightly cheaper than the retail price, but with a lot more hassle and worry.
The worst case is that you will not get your playstation 3, and some unscrupulous crook will get your money. Why? The first answer is simple market economics. The reason wholesale prices are low is because of the cost of dealing with individual customers.
Any company, which is selling to individuals- will have to encounter these higher costs- and so will not be able to offer wholesale prices.
The second reason is the shortage of units of wholesale playstation 3. Sony manufacturing centers in Japan and China have been unable to produce enough units to flood the market at its previous launch. Anybody who does have access to a PS3 today has a strong incentive to sell on to a retailer, who will be able to get a good price for them if viewed in the business perspective.
Finally, Sony exerts control over the pricing of the playstation 3 in the US market, as things are slightly different in Japan, where retailers are allowed to set their own prices. They have the legal and economic power to ensure that the ps3 is sold only for the official prices- that is, $499 for the standard version, and $599 for the premium version. Hopefully this gets through many entrepreneurial minds.
So, what are all these outlets offering the PS3 at wholesale prices for? Mostly, it is just a marketing gimmick as entrepreneurship standpoint. Some of them may really be wholesalers who are trying to break their agreement with Sony and sell the PS3 direct to customers.
If that is the case, they are likely to be in legal trouble fairly soon, and they are not good people to be trusted with your hard earned money, in the most likely event.
Where do you go if you cannot get the Sony PS3 at wholesale prices? Look for the best of the retailers. Their prices might seem a lot higher than those of the wholesalers, but in fact some will probably be offering bundles that give you good value for money.
You will probably be in the desire of getting extra games and controllers anyway, so why not let shops include them in the package for you? That is the way to get if you want to see it that way for this 2007 year as a wholesale playstation 3 instead of the many current distribution scams online.

Which Version of PlayStation 3 Should you Buy?
Mohd Fairuz
With the long awaited release of the Playstation 3, it’s sure to have gamers all around scrambling to purchase this new system. There are two different consoles and prices of the PlayStation 3: the 20GB version and the 60GB version. Each console will have something different to offer and different price tags as well.
The first version of the Playstation 3 is the 20GB version and will retail at $499.99. The next Playstation 3 is the 60GB version and will retail at $599.99.
The new console design has a more sleek and simple design and weighs less than the other console systems. The first version of the model is only going to be offered in black, but some indications state in the future other colors like; white and silver will be available.
On thing that didn’t change in the new video system is the ability to sit horizontally or vertically. With an AV rack it can be placed in both positions, otherwise a horizontal position would be preferred to the fact of its curved console shape.
The traditional controllers have maintained the same image and functions through out the years. This is a warm welcome for the experienced playstation gamers. The one thing that has changed on the controller for the better is the enlargement of the L2 and R2 should buttons. An enlarged titling angle of the joystick will ensure better manipulation and wider range of motion. The force feedback vibration has been done away with, fearing the vibration might interfere with certain games that use the motion sensor.
The controller will be wireless comparable to the XBOX 360 controller. The wireless controller will operate with a Bluetooth 2.0 EDR that can transmit data at the rate of up to 3.0Mbps.
The Playstation Portable will be able to connect to the new console. The PSP can function as a remote control or as an extra controller for the Playstation 3.
The games will use a hard drive to save game and load times will be around two to three seconds.
The 60GB Playstation 3 system will offer a number of features such as four USB ports, compact flash and CD readers, Blu-ray optical disc drive, and memory stick.
The 20GB Playstation 3 will not have some of these features, which is why it costs nearly a hundred dollars less. You will have to decide for yourself which system is right for your needs.
New to Playstation is the Blu-ray disc drive. This disc can hold up to 54GB and can play games and movie discs. With the Blu-ray disc drive you can play high definition DVD’s without having to purchase a separate Blu-ray DVD player.
